THE BAND
Österreich Premiere
Ein weißer, wackeliger VW-Bus, aus dem lautes Lachen und Musik dröhnen. Auf dem Bus steht in einer orangener Schrift „Gypsy Band“ und „Lomincké Cháve“. So nennt sich die Band einer Gruppe Männer aus dem nordostslowakischem Roma Dorf Vel'ká Lomnica. Mit auf Tour sind auch eine Gitarre, ein Cajon, zwei Saxofone, zwei Akkordeons, ein Kontrabass und die Träume und Hoffnungen auf den großen Auftritt bei einem internationalen Musikfestival. Mit viel Leichtigkeit, Humor und mitreißender Ohrwurmmusik begleitet der Film die Mitglieder der Band über die kleinen und auch großen Stolpersteine hinweg in Richtung Abenteuer.
