Der experimentelle Dokumentarfilm begleitet Luana Muniz (1961-2017)–diezurIkonederqueerenSubkultur
gewordene „Queen of Lapa“ - durch ihre Welt im pulsierenden Rio de Janeiro. Langsam und poetisch führt sie durch ihre Stadt,
in der die Metamorphose alles bestimmt: „Geburt. Tod. Geburt. Wie das Atmen der Welt.“ Kranioti schafft es, uns in eine psychodelische
Welt aus Farben, Formen und Menschen einzuführen, in der Wandel und Transformation bestaunt und zelebriert werden. Der Körper
verliert dabei die physischen Grenzen des Individuums und wird zu etwas Intimem, Sozialem und Politischem, er befindet sich
in ständiger Bewegung und Interaktion mit seinem Umfeld. (LH)

vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro. Kranioti introduces its viewers to a psychedelic world of colours, shapes and humans, where
