Drei Jahre Gefängnis. Ibitocho Sehounbiatou (Ibi) schmuggelte eine größere Menge
Drogen über die italienische Grenze. Für eine bessere Zukunft – für ihre Mutter und ihre drei Kinder in Nigeria. Nach 15 Jahren,
ohne Möglichkeit ihre Familie zu besuchen, beschließt sie, ihr Leben für sie filmisch aufzuzeichnen. Ihren Kampf für ein normales
und selbstbestimmtes Leben, und ihr Dasein in Castel Volturno mit Salami, ihrem neuen Lebensgefährten. Ausgangspunkt waren
für Regisseur Andrea Segre Ibi`s eigene Bildmaterialien aus denen er den Film fertigstellte.

15 years without the opportunity to visit her family, she decides to record everything on film for them – her daily life and
daily struggles in Castel Volturno.
