Dash Shaw
Shaw, Dash is a cartoonist and animator. Born in Hollywood, CA, in 1983, he studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York. His graphic novels and books include The Bottomless Belly Button, BodyWorld, and Cosplayers. Expanding into animation with the IFC web series The Unclothed Man in the 35th Century A.D., he also created the Sigur Rós video Seraph (2012), which was selected for the Sundance Film Festival. His debut feature, My Entire High School Sinking into the Sea (2016, SLASH 2017), was shown at the Berlinale, as was his second directorial effort, Cryptozoo.
